Our Program Curriculum
The daily curriculum reflects our belief that equal emphasis must be given to all areas of development: cognitive, social, emotional, and physical. The starting point for a child’s education and our curriculum is the child’s interest. With small class sizes and 1:6 - 1:8 ratios we are able to individualize the curriculum to meet the interests and natural curiosity of each child. The program stimulates and challenges children while providing many opportunities to achieve success and receive positive praise.
Our Students
We believe that all children are special and unique individuals and must be treated as such. Each child has the potential to become a healthy, caring, sensitive, and fully contributing member of society. Children are active learners and learning is augmented through play, hands-on activities, enriching materials, and positive feedback from knowledgeable teachers. Our students develop at individual rates and construct their own knowledge through repeated experiences involving interactions with people and materials. Through active exploration, experimentation, and manipulation of their environment the development of children’s thinking, reasoning, decision-making, and problem solving abilities are enhanced.
